Export supply

ISPM 15 export pallets, done properly

Wood packaging requirements have applied on movements between Great Britain and the EU and Switzerland since 1 January 2021, and requirements elsewhere vary by destination. We specify treated stock or new build around your consignment rather than publishing blanket compliance promises — not all stock is ISPM 15 treated, and marks are applied by authorised operators.

Our core business

Used pallets are our core business

Used pallets account for the large majority of our supply. Stock is sorted, inspected and graded to help commercial customers obtain a reliable, cost-effective pallet without defaulting to new timber unnecessarily. Repairs are carried out where appropriate rather than as a blanket claim.

  • Commercial quantities from 30 Pallets upwards
  • Multiple grades and sizes, including 1200 × 1000 mm and 1200 × 800 mm
  • Sustainable reuse before replacement
  • Regular, scheduled and contract supply

Capability

Built around commercial operations

Procurement and warehouse teams need availability, timing and consistency. That is what the operation is organised around.

Reliable supply volume

A working operation of around 35,000 pallets a month, so a repeat requirement does not depend on a single day's intake.

Flexible delivery scheduling

Same-day, next-day and booked deliveries subject to stock, route and quantity — confirmed with operations, not guessed at.

Dedicated account handling

One point of contact who knows your sizes, grades and sites, rather than a new ticket every time.

Bulk and recurring supply

Part-loads and full loads, plus programmed supply against an agreed schedule.

Bespoke sourcing

Non-standard sizes, heavier specifications and CP or plastic requirements sourced or built to your brief.

Collection and recovery

Surplus stock removed, bought back where it has value, or routed to recycling where it does not.

Sustainability

Reuse before replacement

Extending the working life of a pallet reduces unnecessary waste and makes better use of existing material. British Pallets prioritises reuse and commercial recovery where suitable, with recycling or disposal routes used for stock that cannot return to service.

  1. 01

    Reuse

Where the pallet is commercially suitable as it stands.

  2. 02

    Repair

Where a repair returns it to service safely.

  3. 03

    Recover

Material recovery and recycling for stock beyond repair.

  4. 04

    Dispose

Only where necessary and lawful, under our waste registration.

Questions

Practical answers, quickly

Do you supply ISPM 15 heat-treated export pallets?

Yes — export work is the centre of what we do. Tell us the destination country, pallet size, quantity and dispatch date and we will confirm what treated stock or new build is genuinely available. Not all stock is ISPM 15 treated, and requirements differ by destination, so we confirm per consignment rather than publishing blanket compliance promises.

Which areas do you deliver export pallets to?

Our core supply area runs from Oxford and Oxfordshire down through Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and Surrey to the South Coast. The wider coast, from Devon and Cornwall across to Sussex and Kent, is supported subject to postcode, quantity and date. Larger part-loads and full loads can be delivered across England and Wales.

Is a Euro-size pallet automatically an EPAL pallet?

No. The 1200 × 800 mm footprint is a size, not a licence. EPAL is a separate licensed system, and a pallet's size or oval marking is not proof of heat treatment either. If your customer specifies EPAL, or your shipment needs an IPPC mark, say so at enquiry stage so the correct stock is identified.

Do I get a paper ISPM 15 certificate with the pallets?

The IPPC mark applied to compliant wood packaging is itself the paperless phytosanitary assurance for that packaging, so there is no separate paper ISPM 15 certificate to issue in its place. Your consignment will still need its own commercial and customs documentation, and any plant-health paperwork the goods themselves require.

What is the minimum pallet order?

The working minimum supply order is 30 Pallets. Smaller quantities can sometimes be considered where a delivery route already suits, but commercial quantities are where we work best.

What information do you need for an export quote?

Destination country, and any transit country where it matters, plus pallet size or type, load weight and handling method, new or used, quantity, delivery postcode and the dispatch deadline. The more of that we have up front, the fewer rounds it takes to confirm what is available.
